Establishment of the Sole Proprietorship with the name D. Klein Treuhand Basel by Dominik Klein. He is the son of the Läckerli-Kings, as his grandfather Robi Klein (Ehrenspalenbärglemer von 1979) and father Peter Klein were called by the media.

Relocation of the registered office from Basel to Pratteln and formation of the klein TREUAHND GmbH by the shareholder Dominik Klein.
Dominik Klein was registered with the Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA) as an “auditor.”(Register-No. 102567).
2010
klein TREUHAND GmbH has joined the Swiss Fiduciary Association (Treuhand | Suisse). As a member of Treuhand Suisse, we adhere to the established professional standards.

Relocation to the offices at Bahnhofstrasse 11 in Pratteln.

klein Treuhand GmbH was registered with the Federal Audit Oversight Authority (FAOA) as an audit firm (Register-No. 504594).
2014
Market launch with a new logo. For decades, the penguin served as the brand ambassador for André Klein AG, Münchenstein. The grandfather of Dominik Klein originally created the penguin as the logo. In the year 1948 a candy with the name Pinguin Minth was launched. In connection to that and the 75th anniversary of the Zoo Basel the company A. Klein AG gave five spectacled penguins to the zoo on the 19th of April 1948.
We are pleased that we, the company klein TREUHAND GmbH, can continue the story of the penguin and celebrate this by connecting to the past and sponsoring a spectacled penguin.
2016
Implementation of a quality assurance system in accordance with the requirements of the Swiss Quality Assurance Standard QS1 for audit firms, as well as the extension of the approval as an audit company until 2022.
2017
We are pleased to be a "Basel-Landschaft Apprentice Company" since this summer, allowing us to contribute our part to supporting young talent.
The shareholders have decided to increasingly focus on the areas of tax consulting and fiduciary services, which is why we have withdrawn from the field of auditing.
2020
Covid-19 shaped the year 2020. Thanks to our loyal customers and reliable business partners, as well as our good contacts with the authorities, we can look back on the extraordinary year 2020 with satisfaction.
Within klein TREUHAND GmbH, quite a lot has happened again: We are proud to have a certified fiduciary expert who joined our team since this autumn, and we are pleased that we were able to fill our apprenticeship position again this summer. In addition, Dominik Klein has further expanded the range of services at klein TREUHAND GmbH, and we now also offer business mediation/conflict management.

This year, we have two joyful events. On the one hand, we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of klein TREUHAND GmbH, and on the other hand, we are moving into new, larger and modern office premises in the AQUILA high-rise building in Pratteln. Since October 1, 2023, our domicil is at Bahnhofplatz 1 in Pratteln.

This year we did not only sponsor another spectacled penguin but we were also a part of the sponsor for the cake of the 150th anniversary of the Zoo Basel.
Dieses Jahr haben wir nicht nur wieder eine Patenschaft für einen Brillenpinguin übernommen, wir waren auch Teil des Sponsorings für die Jubiläumstorte des Zolli Basel, welcher dieses Jahr sein 150-jähriges Jubiläum feierte. On this cake, a spectacled penguin was proudly featured (our blog post from July 6, 2024). Thus, not only did the Zoo Basel celebrate this year, but also the team of klein TREUHAND GmbH celebrated its 15th anniversary!
Furthermore, the company klein TREUHAND GmbH received so many recommendations this year that we were listed among the "Top Tax Experts and Fiduciaries 2025" in the Bilanz magazine.

We are pleased to inform you that we have taken a significant step in our company’s development: As of January 1, 2025, we have changed our legal form and are now operating as a Limited Company (AG).
This step underlines our sustainable growth and our strategic focus on the future.
